Did you know guys that I had a minor accident one day before the Holy Week?  April 17 was really memorable for me (It was the day when AJ Perez died HUHUHU ), I was running around the pool playing with my church-mates then out of my control, I slipped and fell on the ground. My head was badly hurt (FYI, the impact was really hard!)  and I am really crying because of my thoughts about the internal bleeding (I already went to my doctor and good thing It is not really serious). It really scared me to death O-M-G. I didn’t think that the floor is actually wet (my bad!` ) Still, I’m thankful to God because I’m okay now. With what happened to me last last Sunday, made me realize how concern are my church-mates about me. They gave me first aid, made me laugh to ease my pain and it actually works! They keep me asking “Are you okay now?” from time to time. WOW.

BTW, Im going to enroll in an art workshop this Monday for me to prepare on college, my course is AB-MMA btw (Bachelor of Arts-Multimedia Arts). A UP Fine-Arts graduate will teach me the proper discipline of drawing a certain object. Till here. Will blog about it. Don’t Worry

Okay let us start now :D

1. First we need to gather our materials to be used in making the domo-carton. A red color pen, set of colored pencils, a pentel-pen and the most important the roll of paper tissue, make sure that it has a carton in the center because that will be our main material.

2. So now we are going to separate carton from the paper tissue. If you can see in the picture, the carton is now separated from the tissue paper.

3. Now we have our carton, we need to draw the two set of eyes. Using pentel-pen draw a two small circles in the carton. Draw the circles in the upper part. Make sure, the eyes are aligned to each other so it will look cute

4. On the lower part, let’s draw a rounded rectangle. Use pencil first if you want your rectangle to be perfect then mark it with the use of pentel-pen

5. Now we have our rounded rectangle let’s now draw a teeth for domokun. Draw at least 3 inverted triangles inside the rounded rectangle. Both lower and upper part should have inverted triangles so it will look like  a pointed teeth :D

6. Leave first the teeth, we are now going to color the mouth of domo with the use of red color pen. Dont color the teeth just the mouth. See it in the picture?

7. Then the final step is coloring of the teeth. Using white colored pencil fill out the teeth of domo with white. And now you have your Carton-domo haha.

I researched at google on what is Caricature all about and this what I got

Caricature is a representation of someone or something in a drawing or painting , by which parts of their character or appearance are made more noticeable, odd, or amusing than they really are.

According to B. Vipper, there are three main features of any caricature:

1. Exaggerated emphasis on ugliness, hideousness, meanness, etc.

2. Highlighting of unnatural abnormalities are allowed within certain limits.

3. Any caricature should have some resemblance to a human being even if it does not represent a person.

We and the world around us are shown by a caricaturist from unexpected and witty point of view. The level of its witticism reflects , by its own way, the spiritual and intellectual life of the definite people, society, and epoch. Any caricature is the way of thinking, an illustration of the time; it can be created only in developed society, because only sound, healthy, and strong people can laugh at themselves.

At the same time a caricature can be a complicated code, a kind of Aesopian language. A caricature can be evil and kind, sharply satirical and humorous. Humour is neither a sermonizing preacher nor a garbage collector, although these activities are always attributed to it. To understand the caricaturist’s idea, one should have at least a bit of sense of humour, be ready to smile, to laugh. The difference between any animal and a human being is the human sense of humour
