I am here to blog about the experience as I left my High School days in my school. The picture you can see above is a picture of my mom who is so proud as she wears the medal to me. I felt proud too for receiving an award but you know I kinda feel awkward because I was the first one who was called to get up in front of the stage. haha. The feeling was unexplainable. You know, I wasnt expecting any award because all I just want is to graduate even if without an award would be okay because medals will not measure how great you are if you are in the real world. They are just labels. Right?

But still, I thanked God for giving me an award and I got a Best In Computer minor award. They say it is just a minor subject but I know this is my stepping stone for achieving my dreams. I am a person who always look on the things of how it will work not on what will people tell because people will always judge my works, I just have to concentrate. Concentration works on me. It really works. Try it, it really works. Concentration means not bothering about your ideas, concentration means believing in your own ideas. No intimidation just concentration. You’ll get what I mean.

Seriously, I didn’t cry as we sung our graduation song haha. Funny, I know but I cant feel the song. I cried when the ceremony is almost done. I hug my friends one by one. OMG we almost cried :[ . We hug each other like there’s no tomorrow.

After the graduation, my family and I had a dinner in Abe Restaurant. Their Kare-Kare (native dish) is the best!

Everything was unexpected, I didnt even expected that many of my family members will give me gifts and I thank God for all the good things he did to me. He is really the best.

Now, it will be another four years for me to spend my college life full of challenges. I pray that God will help me in everything I do and will support me with my dreams.

You guys, what are your plans for valentines day? Me? I still don’t know. Anyways Valentines is not only for those who are in a relationship. This doesn’t mean that when I am single, I have no reason to be happy in this coming valentines day.Right?

If you don’t have boyfriend/girlfriend just date your mom or dad. That would be fun and they will be happy if you’ll do that. Buy your mom and dad a special gift which has no one ever made besides you. It will be one the best memories of you together with your family.

Honestly, I still don’t know what I am going to give to my parents. It so hard to think a new concept. Every year I always give them V-cards and I am already used to it. I want a new one, the best one and that would never be forgotten by my parents. I want extraordinary concepts. Yeah. I love forming new concepts, I just have to set my mood and voila I already have one.

I think I already know what I am going to give them. I guess edited photo will do and I ‘lll print it in a photo paper. Ofcoruse the size is not small, im gonna make it big and will put it in a specialized frame. I think I just need time but today is Sunday and tomorrow is Monday argh. I wish I can finish this.

Guys, I am back for good. Finally I am now back. Hopefully, I can manage my time now. I can’t do anything so I’ll just say sorry. Host has been very bad to us. It went down for almost 1 week. It takes one more week to back up all the files. I made a new layout because the previous layout is malfunctioning . I dont have a choice so I made one. I madea 2ne1 and yoyo cici inspired theme :surprise: . Did you liked it? I hope so.

My January is not so good. I failed UPCAT (University Of The Philippines College Admission Test) and I know it from the very start that i’ll never enter this university for I am not SMART and INTELLIGENT . I also failed USTET (University of Santo Tomas Entrance Test?) I cried because I still dont have school and I am so ashamed to my parents. I always cry every night. i dont know where will I be. Good thing I passed CSB. I thought I am also going to fail CSB because the Abstract Test is not that easy. The test is more on Logic.

Now I am going to enroll in my dream school. I will really do my very best. Thank You For reading this blog post!

The Major Major Comeback

1, 2, 3 . . . Oh-some is back! OMG I miss this place. I’ve been missing in action for 2 Months. OMG did I say that? Okay I know it’s overreacting but hey I’m really anticipating about my comeback uhmmmmm major major comeback haha. Im really speechless. My last post was last August. That was really late haha.

My birthday passed and I didn’t even bother updating oh-some and I would like to say sorry for that. Well guys, I am now 16. Yahay. 16 years old. I just celebrated last September 27, 2010. I know it’s one month late but it’s okay haha. I keep on laughing and laughing forgive me because it’s like a FREE DAY for me just TODAY. I just had my sweetest sixteen . My crush and former crush greeted me haha.

Anyways you’re wondering why there is a picture above there. It’s my room I took a picture of my computer table . It kinda looks messy but I love this place. Sitting for hours waiting minutes into hours and typing what’s on my head. There’s a magic every time I’m going to sit here. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking. I like my mouse pad because I bought it from my own money and the wallpaper too. I made that wallpaper featuring 2NE1 and BigBang. 2NE1′s comeback is really the best, that was the best birthday gift ever. HAHA.

Our semester break hasn’t started yet I want a break now. I am tried of sleepless nights and terror grades. I failed at Physics I am not really good at formulas, so freaking bad. My teacher in computer knows my website haha. Hello teacher Our project in computer is somewhat different from the previous projects we had. It’s a project wherein we need to maintain a personal blog. I feel so energized today, I dont know why? Maybe because of my online friends who’s cheering me up there, blessings that I received from God everyday, tasks and challenges that I surpassed or maybe because I’m inspired to someone :26: haha. shhh

So last Monday, my review class for Tutorlink started already. From 1pm-5:30 pm. Oh man it’s hot outside :45: The first day was so quiet! I thought I wouldn’t meet new friends, I thought i’ll be alone for the whole time haha but I met 4 new friends and I was happy about that. :33: Then, I saw cute guysss ! haha Oh man! XD I love my schedule it’s every M-W-F so it means I still have rest days on T-TH. We are given assignments everyday. Our instructors are good. They are so cool! . They taught us new techniques. Btw I already met Isha in person! YAY! It was fun answering assignments because you’ll learn by yourself. Learning by yourself is fun. Try To Follow Me :40:

I already closed LINK-EX application because I am really busy. I am concentrated on my studies especially on Math. I suck at Math! haha so I need to focus on the subject and I should work smarter.

And because my mind is full of tasks, I already forgot my birthday here in WordPress. I am already one year here in WordPress. Hooray for that I started blogging at WordPress since April 1, 2009. Yeah I really forgot HAHA.! Sorry. Blogging has been a part of my daily life. Since I became an official blogger I learned how to use correct grammar and enhanced my vocabulary here (Yeah it’s true) I even discovered my talent here. Too cool for the prom

OMG Sorry for not updating (as usual) I cant find time to update because of we are busy preparing for our JS PROM and other school stuffs that made me busy :46: Well, as you can see I had set up a new theme and it was a Planner-Like Layout. I love this theme even though it’s totally messed up in IE (I really hate IE! ) because this layout is really simple and neat. I just used light colors :D I think it’s time to leave dark colors now haha. Thanks to sis Anne of Pinkfab I just love her basecodes. I really admire her designs. :11:

So moving on, I know you are all excited to blog about my JS Prom especially to my online friends and to my twitterkada wow (there’s a word like that?) haha Well, let me start now.

BTW, If you guys dont know what is JS Prom about, it is a short term for Junior Senior Promenade. The word “prom” comes from the French word promenade, which means walk or stroll. In the Deep South, early in the twentieth century, it was considered inappropriate to dance with men that you were not married to, so the girls would take short and heavily-chaperoned promenades around the block with their dates.

By the 1930s, proms were common and the popularity of “prom stories”, sharing both good and bad memories, were published in school papers all over the country and added to the mystique. Other schools would acquire and distribute other school paper’s stories so these circulated from state to state and were taken very seriously. It was implied that participation in proms meant you were a good citizen and supported your community.

As proms became a passion two people attempted to suggest a way to plan them. Marietta Abell and Agnes J. Anderson’s 1936 book called “THE JUNIOR-SENIOR PROM, Complete Practical Suggestions for Staging the Junior-Senior Prom” suggested that proms could be money-savers and should not be planned in less than four weeks. Of course things have changed since some couples today spend thousands and proms are often planned a year in advance. Conde Nast estimates an average 17 year old spends $638 on the prom, more than $1200 per couple.

The 1950’s brought about heavy competition for the titles of Prom King and Queen as a popularity contest. Usually going to the best looking and best dressed couple it has been shown that today, people not from the popular crowd can win when the focus is also shifted to creativity and intellectual appeals for votes to look beyond just appearances. MTV’s reality series “Made” has demonstrated this a few times with “ugly ducklings” and social outsiders taking titles in formal events.

The format of the prom today varies from place to place but a traditional prom usually involves high school students in tuxedos and gowns, dancing and music, combined with decorations and a theme. There are some professional event planners but it is usually the product of the hard work of a student prom commitee. The era of selecting popular song titles, as themes for the prom, began in the late 60s and early 70s. All of this includes corsages, limousines, photographs (high school yearbooks did not start covering proms and including prom pictures until the 1930s and 1940s), and in many cases post-prom parties. Proms are held in school gyms and cafeterias or in hotels, country clubs, and banquet halls. Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior Proms occur but are usually not considered as important as the Senior Prom, which is the final formal dance and gathering of the graduating class.

Proms are a party but they also resemble weddings. Couples often look like a young bride and groom in their gowns and tuxedos. Families gather to send them off, take pictures, flowers (carnations are the traditional prom flower) and gifts are exchanged. Some post prom parties become a kind of “honeymoon.” So teens need to know how to prepare for the peer pressure they will encounter and act in a way they won’t regret. Avoiding drug and alcohol use is the only safe bet at post prom parties. The prom is supposed to be a wonderful memory not a night to forget. Many schools stage fake car accidents and give pre-prom planning advice to help prepare students to make smart choices during a night legendary for its reputation of letting go and experimenting with a range of things, sometimes for the first time.

Prom is a great time to dress up, go out with friends, and celebrate high school. Many people say the negative side is that prom night takes attention away from studies and encourages superficial competition between peers at an age when self-esteem is fragile. It can also be the most memorable night of a student’s life. Throughout all of the high school experience there will be good and bad memories its not just going to happen at special events. Some appreciate the formal rituals of the prom and others don’t. There are anti-proms that occur on prom nights that can also be fun for those who choose not to go to the event.

You get out of the night what you want and cannot expect to just arrive and observe and be handed a good time. Its up to each person to make it memorable and special for themselves..

The Centennial

Finally, after three months of preparing everything, our church had celebrated it’s 100 years of glorious legacy. To tell you, this is not really easy, especially on the part of the organizer of our church. Our church spent a large amount of money just to make the celebration organized and memorable. They even hired a professional camera-man (the one who took the video of the whole celebration), a catering for our food, a stage and performer organizer (managing our proper way of entrance and exit in stage) Btw before I forgot I’m a Born-again Christian. Please respect whatever is my belief :D. So going back, we celebrated our church’s centennial at Bahay Ng Alumni at UP Diliman Quezon City last January 30, 2010 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm , that’s a very long long long hours of celebration but it worth. :D. The venue is really huge. All spaces are occupied. BTW, If you’re my daily reader of my tweets, you’ll notice that I often came home for almost 8:00 in the evening and the reason is we’ve been practicing our dance steps because we’re going to dance five times with different musics and steps. It is really tiring but it’s ok because we are doing this for God. It is all about God not me :D. We even had our guest speaker named Chief Justice Reynato Puno :D . Meanwhile, me together with my co-dancers kept on taking wacky pictures It was fun :D.

Yey. Wazzup guys? :27: Time to blog again wee. Christmas is already done.Wow! that’s it? I want more Christmas Notice my new theme? HAHA I just changed the page and sidebar’s background color. For me black looks good and it really does HAHA. I just realized that the previous one looked so over designed and other colors doesn’t match :25: well, so I came up with this result HAHA. The only bad thing is, my smileys are hardly seen in my post but it’s ok :33: What do you think? Which is more better the before of after :11: ?
So I guess all of you had a wonderful Christmas same thing with me. Let’s talk about gifts.

I researched in google the history of gift-giving. According to articlesbase:

Giving gifts has been a tradition among human beings since ancient times. Land that was passed from one generation to another was considered a gift, as well as offerings made to various gods.
